Looking for skipper training close to home—any tips?
Hey guys! I want to take a practical course this season to gain my skipper credentials, but my schedule is pretty tight due to work. Ideally, I would love to find a place that offers flexible weekend training sessions or flexible scheduling options. Does anyone have recommendations on how to find a solid program without traveling too far?

If time is tight, flexibility in training schedules is definitely key. Searching for a professional yachting school near me is usually the best way to locate local maritime centers that offer weekend modules or custom schedules. Make sure to call them directly to ask about their instructor-to-student ratio and whether they provide intense practical drills in local coastal waters.
